matritweets.com is owned and operated by Pinnacle Consultants Pty Ltd (ABN: 14 086 499 836), Sydney, Australia. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our members and respecting the personal information and identity of individuals. We hereby disclose our Privacy Policy with regards to how we treat the information collected from individuals:

Information collected

Matritweets.com is a matrimony and tweeting service and hence we collect personal profile of members who wish to register to use some of the services of the website. However, we have not made it mandatory to enter any personal information. The visitors can register by simply creating a unique user name and password and it is not mandatory to submit a full matrimonial profile. If the users do wish to submit their matrimonial profile, then we collect the following information:

Name, email address, DOB, education, religion, caste, residency status, country of residence, photo and free text details where the user can write whatever they wish.

We also collect some information that is not entered by the users e.g. users IP address, which may indicate the location of the user, browser types, etc.

From time to time, we may be running surveys or poll on our website and visitor’s responses to those polls are also collected by us.

The other information collected by matritweets.com is the short messages called tweets. These are free-form text entered by the users and saved in matritweets.com database. The users can write anything in the form of tweets.

Use of information collected

The information related to the matrimonial profile of the members is useful in providing matrimony match-making services to the visitors. We show the personal profile information entered by the members in search results on the website. This is fundamental to providing a matrimony service. We do not alter the text entered by the users. We display the exact text or description as entered by the users.

The members have a choice to not enter any profile information and still be able to become a member. We have also provided a facility in “Edit Profile” section to members, to be able to hide their profile from search results and still remain members and user other features of the website, if they wish to do so.

The information collected about user’s browser, IP address, etc. is sometimes useful in tracking a person in case of any illegal activities. It is also useful in statistical analysis of the usage of the website.

Tweets are displayed exactly as entered to other member. Tweets are a form of instant communication that can be used by members to tell about anything to other members or to arrange group date with other members. It may be related to any event, their thoughts, opinions, feelings, interest or anything else.

Sharing information

We are committed to not intentionally sharing or releasing any information on members or visitors to our website with any other organisation by any means, other than through the standard features of the website e.g. search, tweets, etc.

We do not sell, rent, share or give away you information. However, we reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law in case of any legal proceeding and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site.

Email Policy

Emailing members is fundamental to providing good matrimony service to our members. We would like to keep members updated with activities to their account, so they may not miss any key events. However, we have provided a feature during registration and afterwards to enable members to disable regular update emails from us anytime.
